Pears and Goat Milk Porridge

Honey Baked Pears and Goat Milk Porridge

Impress your friends and family with this delicious dish. It’s fancy and wholesome, and oh so easy to make!


For the pears:

  • 2 pears
  • 2 tsp cinnamon 
  • 2 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla

For the porridge:

  • 100 g large flake rolled oats
  • 750 ml + 125 ml water (seperate)
  • 25 g Green Goat milk powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp honey (to taste)


Preheat your oven to 180°C (convection oven).

Combine honey, vanilla, and cinnamon in a small bowl.

Cut the pears in half and scoop out any seeds. Drizzle each half with your honey mixture.

Place on a baking tray and bake for 25 minutes on the middle oven rack.

While baking, prepare your porridge by bringing your oats, 750 ml of water, and salt to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Mix 25 g Green Goat milk powder with 125 ml water, and add to your cooked porridge, stirring well.

Remove pears from the oven and poke with a fork to check for softness.
Serve your porridge topped with a pear half. Drizzle with remaining honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. Enjoy!
