Homemade Granola

What’s better than fresh-out-of-the-oven, homemade granola? Since we tried it, we couldn’t keep this recipe to ourselves!


Ingredients

  • 200 g old-fashioned oats
  • 80 g pecan pieces
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cinnamon (your choice!)
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
  • 50 g coconut oil
  • 80 g honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Optional mix ‘n match toppings:

  • 50 g dried cherries, cranberries
  • 35 g hemp hearts

Preparation

Preheat oven to 180°C. Prepare a shallow pan lined with parchment paper.

In a bowl, mix oats, coconut oil, honey and vanilla. Then add in cinnamon and salt, mix well. Add in remaining ingredients. Spread mixture onto pan in an even layer. Bake until golden, about 10 minutes, stir and flip, then continue baking until crunchy and golden all around, about another 10 minutes.

Allow granola to cool completely before adding any optional toppings. Pour 60 ml to 120 ml prepared GREEN GOAT milk over a bowl of cooled granola, add fresh strawberries and enjoy!
